Insight is a journey of the soul, it was not born from a project of the reason but from an experience of an inner feeling. Accompanied by a language filled with an exquisite feminine sensitivity, we enter the fantasty story of an initiation process in which the consciousness experience a renaissance.
Moria De Zen chooses to interpret the theme through her body and perform it within evocative places of Veneto, her native land. The locations chosen, stripped of all references to time or place, focus the look and sensibility over Nature, key element of the transformation process. Nature, or Mother Earth or Mother Goddess, here perceived as the primordial reality, entertains itslef to converse with our innerness. Source from which to draw to quench our thirst, as a crystal clear spring water where to wash and let go of what no longer belongs to us, it is the alchemical place where nourish that soul food capable of become catalyst.
In many myths, stories and fairy tales, the theme of the initiatory rebirth is narrated according to the Life/Death/Life cycle through archetypal symbols that promote the understanding of the internal processes, necessary and vital to the evolution of the human psyche. Insight returns, ideally, this process in its three phases: The Tree, Passage and Sidelight. The viewer, however, is set free to feel how and where in path he can finds himrself.
When the self-consciousness is rubbed by the external elements of life, a mysterious and magical transformation occurs, in a way similar to what happens between the elements in alchemy. The achievement of a deeper and more mature self-consciousness is symbolized and depicted through the image of the rays of light, leitmotiv of the entire journey. The light, broken down into rays, allows the Man to penetrate the mystery of life in its multiplicity of meanings and to be enlightened.
Insight, hypothetical, controversial, wonderful trip, becomes a metaphor of the exhausting search of enlightenment, affirmation itself of the right of interiority and spirituality of Man of every time and place for the realization of his true self. A search that discloses human vulnerability, the transience of time, the loneliness of the labors, the lightness of being, the power of love.

Insight è un percorso dell’anima, non nasce da un progetto della ragione, ma da un’esperienza del sentire interiore. Accompagnati da un linguaggio intriso di sensibilità squisitamente femminile, entriamo nel racconto fantastico di un processo iniziatico in cui la coscienza vive l’esperienza di una rinascita.
Moria De Zen sceglie di interpretare il tema attraverso il proprio corpo e di ambientare le sue rappresentazioni in suggestivi set naturali del Veneto, sua terra natale. I luoghi scelti, volutamente spogli di ogni riferimento temporale e geografico, concentrano sguardo e sensibilità sulla Natura, elemento chiave del processo trasformativo. La Natura, o Madre Terra, o Dea Madre, qui percepita come realtà primordiale, si intrattiene a conversare con l’interiorità dell’uomo. Fonte a cui attingere per dissetarsi, sorgente cristallina dove lavarsi e lasciar andare nell’acqua ciò che più non ci appartiene, è il luogo alchemico dove nutrirsi di quel cibo animico capace di farsi catalizzatore.
In molti miti, racconti e fiabe, il tema della rinascita iniziatica viene narrato secondo il ciclo Vita/Morte/Vita attraverso simboli archetipici che favoriscono la comprensione dei processi interiori necessari e vitali all’evoluzione della psiche umana. Insight ripresenta idealmente questo processo nelle sue tre fasi: The Tree, Passage e Sidelight. Si lascia tuttavia libero l’osservatore di sentire come e in quale percorso ritrovarsi.
Quando la coscienza di sé viene sfregata degli elementi esterni della vita, avviene una misteriosa e magica trasformazione in modo analogo a quanto accade tra gli elementi in alchimia. Il raggiungimento di una coscienza di sé più profonda e matura viene simbolizzato attraverso l’immagine dei “raggi di luce”, leitmotiv di tutto il percorso. La luce decomposta e riflessa nei raggi permette all’uomo di penetrare il mistero della vita nella sua variegata molteplicità di significati e di esserne illuminato.
Insight, ipotetico, controverso, meraviglioso viaggio, si fa metafora dell’estenuante ricerca di illuminazione, affermazione del diritto di interiorità e spiritualità dell’uomo di ogni tempo e luogo per la realizzazione del suo vero sé. Una ricerca che mette a nudo la vulnerabilità umana, la fugacità del tempo, la solitudine delle fatiche, la leggerezza dell’essere, la potenza dell’amore.
